Waiting for August came together quickly in early 2010, debuting with an explosive performance during SXSW and subsequent packed shows at Stubbs and Emos in Austin TX. They quickly released an EP consisting of songs from Ben’s, Sharon’s and Eric’s former bands along with their first song written together, Baylee. WFA performs mainly in Austin, TX but have also performed regionally and will expand their touring areas when their next CD is released in late spring, 2011.
